There is no time like the present to start your meditation journey. We have seen the benefits of meditation in our own lives and the lives of thousands of people around us.
We have seen it help people deal with stress, anxiety, and even chronic pain.
What started out as a hobby has now turned into a passion—a passion we want to share with everyone who might be interested in learning more about meditation.
That's why we created this website! Our goal is to inspire you to start your own meditation practice by providing you with a solid foundation and understanding of meditation. We also want to help you build a consistent habit of practicing meditation on your own so that you can truly reap the benefits of this wonderful practice.
We created the first meditation marathon session in early 2020 hoping that we could help others find peace of mind during the lockdowns and chaos. Since then we've held 5 online meditation marathons where over 1,000 participants meditated with us.
After seeing how much people were enjoying these guided meditations, we decided that we needed to take everything we learned and put it together into a workbook that would help spread the joys of meditation to as many people as possible.
Throughout this process, we discovered and analyzed pain points and problems that many people, just like you, experience during meditation.
Working with Lamas from Dharamshala, Buddhist Nuns from Taiwan, and meditation and mindfulness practitioners from around the world, the Buddha Land team then compiled the solutions to these problems.
After a year of refinement and testing, a unique new guided meditation journal was born: My Meditation Marathon Mindfulness Journal.
We successfully launched My Meditation Marathon Journal on Kickstarter in April 2022 to crowdfund our dream of sharing meditation with the world.
With this book in hand, you can learn how to create your own peaceful space anywhere you go!
Sometimes it can feel like such an uphill battle just getting started with something new—whether it's learning how to meditate or starting an exercise routine or writing every day or eating better—but don't give up! You can do it! And we're here for you along the way!
So, who are we?
Since it was founded in April 2018, Buddha Land has published more than a thousand articles and long-form posts on Buddhism & Meditation.
